Who We Are

Bull City Indivisible is a community-oriented, Durham-based Indivisible group that works closely in coalition with other progressive, pro-Democracy groups across the state.

What We Do (Our Mission)

We drive civic engagement through community, education, and action in order to strengthen our democracy.

How We Do It

We come together to fight back against the latest undemocratic or unfair policies at the state and federal levels. We help group members figure out what actions they can take that will make a difference, provide opportunities to hear from local experts and elected officials, and work in coalition with other civic organizations. We also love a good movie showing and book club discussion.

How We Are Organizing in 2026 and Beyond

To reduce member burnout, increase member engagement, and create clear lanes for action, we created a wheel-and-spoke model.

Our current spokes include: Social Issues; Local and Statewide Elections; Member Engagement and Growth; Mutual Aid; and Communications.

How You Can Join Us

We welcome anyone and everyone who wants to join a community that’s working to create a more progressive North Carolina. We meet in Durham every other Sunday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Locations are disclosed upon sign up.
